My Story
I enjoy art, especially photography, and my specialty is macro and close-up fine art images
When I was a little girl I loved my microscope and I would put everything on the stage, at least anything that fit. I also learned how to quilt from my grandmother – she was amazing with the fabric, those were good times! With these two loves, I created a fun place for me in my photographic life. Most of my work is colorful and close-up. Yes, I do tend to go sepia and black & white sometimes but I absolutely love color!
I also enjoy writing articles giving you tips and techniques about photography. I post new articles at least once a month at blog.sullivanjphotography.com, which will keep you informed about the latest and greatest photography goodies out there. Please take a look and don’t be shy about leaving your feedback. One of my favorite things to do is donate my time with women who want to learn macro photography, but it’s a pleasure working with anyone who appreciates this craft.
My Work
I have worked with homeowners, interior designers, graphic designers, and various other businesses, to create the perfect look for their very unique projects. Several of my pieces have also been on display and have been published in a variety of media. I have a collection at the University of La Verne in Southern California and have won awards for my work, with the most recent being “Best of Worldwide Photography – Year 2012″ for my flowers.
Thank you for taking the time to read this…we are all moving so fast, I appreciate your time.
Take care…life is fast…enjoy!!

“If a day goes by without me doing something related to photography it’s though I’ve neglected something essential to my existence, as though I had forgotten to wake up.”
