Meet Janice Sullivan – Owner of Sullivan J Photography
Janice Sullivan is a Fine Art Photographer specializing in Macro, Landscape & Travel photography. As a child, Janice was fascinated with getting an up-close view of just about anything that fit on the stage of her microscope. That translated to viewing objects, people, bugs, plants and just about anything up close with the lens of her camera.
Her latest images include macro lens paintings, which mirror oil paintings while still maintaining a photographic quality. Janice also enjoys hiking with her husband and has many landscape & travel photographs in her portfolio.
Working with Janice is exciting and fun. When presented with a vision, she always finds a way to exceed the client’s expectations. Janice is constantly improving her technique and incorporating the latest in photographic technology, trends and teachings with a unique flair. Her positive attitude and adventurous spirit make her the ideal photographer for design, media and art assignments.
When Janice isn’t taking photographs, she is writing, volunteering and sharing her love of photography with the community. The Sullivan J Photography blog is updated monthly with photography tips, techniques, and Janice’s latest inspirations and images. SJP provides images for, art consultants, interior designers, graphic designers, magazine editors and various businesses to create the perfect look for a variety of projects. Several of Janice’s pieces have also been on display and have been published in a variety of media her latest image is on the cover of Outdoor Photographer June 2012 edition. She has a collection at the University of La Verne in Southern California and has won awards for her work, with the most recent being “Best of Worldwide Photography – Year 2012″ for her flowers. She is a member of ASMP and MAFA (Monrovia Association of Fine Arts).
